The amiable first lady of Ogun State, Funso Amosun was born on 2 May 1966 in London to late Bishop Ayoade Adesanya and Deaconess Christiana Odesanya. She is married to the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and they are blessed with five children. She holds a Bachelor Degree in English Education from Obafemi Awolowo University and also holds a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos. 2. She commenced her primary education at St James Norland in the UK and later moved to Yejide Girls Grammar School in Ibadan.

3. She holds a Bachelor Degree in English Education from Obafemi Awolowo University.

4. She also proceeded to Oyo State College of Arts and Science for her Advanced level education from 1983-1985.
