The exceptional Nigerian football player and attacking midfielder for Qingdao Jonoon, Chigozie Udoji was born as Chigozie Shaloze Udoji on 16 July 1986 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is also a holder of a Bulgarian passport and has a Bulgarian name, Mitko Atanasov Georgiev. During his school days, he played for the Nigerian football club, Bridge Football Club based in Lagos. In 2004, he moved to Bulgaria and was initially signed by Vihren Sandanski. In 2007, he was transferred to the association football club, CSKA Sofia and later won the 2008 Bulgarian Supercup.
