The renowned Nigerian Afrobeat artist, rapper and producer, Naeto C was born as Naetochukwu Chikwe on 17 December 1982 in Houston, Texas and is of Nigerian origin. He is the son of former Nigerian Ambassador of Ireland, Doctor Mrs. Kema Chikwe and Chief Herbert Chikwe. He won the Best New Musician at the 2008 MTV Africa Music Awards and the Video of the Year category at the 2009 Channel O Music Video Awards. There is no doubt that the versatile Afrobeat musician has definitely broken all boundaries and surpassed more limits than any up and coming artist, lyrically and production wise.

1. Naeto C was born as Naetochukwu Chikwe on 17 December 1982 in Houston, Texas and is of Nigerian origin.

2. He is the son of former Nigerian Ambassador of Ireland, Doctor Mrs. Kema Chikwe and Chief Herbert Chikwe.

3. He was articulated into other creative art forms, most specifically poetry, which took him to various competitions and earned him accolades as a young poet.

4. After completing his secondary education in Lagos, he moved to the United States for higher education both in SUNY Old Westbury and a year later to George Washington University.
