The renowned Nollywood actor, model and musician, Okechukwu Chukwudi Ukeje popularly known as OC Ukeje was born on 15 July 1981 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the second child of a family of three. He broke into the Nigerian entertainment scene after winning the Amstel Malta Box Office reality show. He won the African Movie Academy Awards for the Best Upcoming Actor in 2008 and the City People’s Award for Best New Act in 2010. He was listed by Nigerian Cinema Exhibition Coalition as one of the highest box office grosser of 2014. There is no doubt that the charming 34-years-old actor has definitely paved a successful career for himself in the entertainment industry.

1. Okechukwu Chukwudi Ukeje popularly known as OC Ukeje was born on 15 July 1981 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the second child of a family of three.

3. He began his career in acting from his first year at the University of Lagos, Yaba, with a lead role in a stage play.

4. He broke into the Nigerian entertainment scene after winning the Amstel Malta Box Office reality show.

5. His made his first movie appearance in the 2007 sports drama film, White Waters, which featured Rita Dominic and Joke Silva. The film went on to win four awards at the 4th African Movie Academy Awards.

6. He won the African Movie Academy Awards for the Best Upcoming Actor in 2008 and the City People’s Award for Best New Act in 2010.

7. He has been a member of cast of the TV series that was presented at the International Emmy World Television Festival; Wetin Dey (2007) produced by the BBC World Service Trust and played lead and supporting lead roles in films like Comrade, Confusion Na Wa and Awakening.
