Olamide and Joeboy Set to Collaborate for the First Time

Hitmakers Olamide Baddo and Joeboy appear to have a collaboration on the way, sparking excitement among fans who are eager to witness the fusion of their unique styles.
New pictures of the stars on what seems to be the set of a video shoot have fueled speculation, as this will mark the first time both artists will appear on a song together. Given their track record of delivering hits, expectations are high for what could be another chart-topping record.
The duo, who have made a name for themselves as two of Nigeria’s finest hitmakers, are expected to have a busy 2025.
Joeboy has announced the upcoming release of his third album, Lavida Boy. In anticipation of the album, he has already dropped several singles, including the hit Adenuga featuring Qing Madi, one of the notable collaborations of 2024. He also recently teamed up with long-term collaborator Tempoe for SMH and has teased a new track titled Taxi Driver, which features promotional content with skitmaker Layi Wasabi and philanthropist Asher Kine.
Olamide, on the other hand, remains one of Nigerian music’s most sought-after collaborators, with his presence often turning songs into instant hits. 2024 was another busy year for the multi-award-winning rapper, who delivered a string of guest appearances, collaborating with artists such as Shallipopi, Gimba, Lade, CKay, Zlatan, and Alpha P.
Olamide’s rumored song with Joeboy is set to continue his impressive run of collaborations as he gears up for a packed 2025. Speculation is also growing that he may release his 11th solo project, adding to his already impressive discography, which stands as one of the most influential in modern Nigerian mainstream pop music.
With both artists bringing their signature styles and proven hit-making abilities, their collaboration is poised to be a standout moment in Nigerian music this year.
