Congo’s Kabila paranoia leads to arrests of young activists

Kinshasa, Congo – would any dictator feel safe if the following group is known to be meeting with the youth leaders of your country.

1. Y’en a marre of Senegal
2. Balai citoyen of Burkina Faso

Those groups are at the forefront of the fight for democracies in their respective countries.  If you talk about the revolution in Burkina Faso, the above group was amongst the leaders.

Now any leader would be worried if those people are meeting the youth leaders of their countries.

Let us add one more element to the equation, what if the meeting is financed by the American embassy?

These will surely agitate any government with a shaky human right record.

So the Congolese government arrested amongst the many people an American diplomat.
