The first runner up at the 2010 Mr Nigeria contest, Alex Ekubo-Okwaraeke who is best known as Alexx Ekubo was born on 10 April 1986 in Lagos, Nigeria. He won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award at the 2013 Best of Nollywood Awards for his role in the Nigerian romantic drama film, Weekend Getaway. He also starred as “Johnny the Lover boy” in Yemi Alade’s music video of her hit single titled “Johnny”. There is no doubt that the 30-years-old model and actor represents a new era in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
