Denrele Edun was born as Adenrele Oluwafemi Edun on 13 June 1983 to a Yoruba father and Indian-Mauritius mother in Hamburg, Germany. The fearless and daring, Denrele is a Nigerian television presenter for Channel O and was a TV presenter for Soundcity. 1. Denrele Edun was born as Adenrele Oluwafemi Edun on 13 June 1983 in Hamburg, Germany.

2. He was born to a Yoruba father and a Indian-Mauritius mother. He is the only son among his siblings.

3. He attended the St Gregory’s College in Ikoyi, Nigeria.

4. He is a graduate of English Education from the University of Lagos.

5. After graduating from the University of Lagos, he went into modelling and also joined Soundcity as a TV presenter.

6. He commenced his television career as an actor at the age of 11 as a presenter and producer of “Kiddievision 10” on NTA Network.

7. He has won 16 award and over 30 nominations in his career.

8. He has interviewed prominent celebrities like Tyler Perry, Akon, Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Cuba Gooding, Lil’ Kim and Amerie to mention a few.

9. He hosted the movie premiere of “Hoodrush” in 2012 and he has also been credited for being behind the success of the 2014 Big Brother Amplified Winner, Karen Igho.
