1. Tjan was born as Tijani Olasunmbo Fowosere on 21 February 1992 in Lagos, Nigeria.

2. He was born into a family of four siblings. His father was a poet and his older brother was a rapper.

3. He was enrolled in the Muson School of Music where he studied music and vocal training.

4. He started writing songs at the age of 14 and recorded his first song at the age of 17-years titled “What You Like”.

5. He took part in the Nigerian Idol season 3 and he made it to the top 20 contestant of the competition.

6. He later won the Airtel Music Competition in Delta State, Iseluku, where he also performed his 3 weeks of NYSC orientation.

7. He was later discovered by the record label, Right Entertainment and Achievas Music and they decided to partner with him to enhance his talent.

8. He released his hit single titled “Ire” which was well received by fans. He is regarded as “Naija’s Best Secret”

9. He holds a Degree in Mass Communications from the Houdegbe North American University in Benin.
