Odumodublvck on Success: Money and Fame Don’t Define Him
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has opened up about his unique perspective on success, emphasizing that money and fame are not his primary motivators. During an appearance on HIPTV, the rapper shared his thoughts on authenticity, simplicity, and what truly matters to him as an artist and individual.
Odumodublvck acknowledged that while he puts in significant effort to promote his music and earn a living, he doesn’t let money or fame dictate his values. He expressed that, unlike some celebrities, his focus lies in staying genuine and living a straightforward life.
“I want to promote myself so that people can hear me and make money,” he said. “But there are some people who, if you give them money and fame, they would rather not have anything in their bank account. They like to be hailed. That’s what they like, you get me? There’s nothing wrong with that, especially if it makes people happy; the fame and the money. But I’m not really about the money like that.”
A Different Kind of Celebrity
Unlike many celebrities, Odumodublvck is unbothered by materialism and societal trends. He revealed that he doesn’t feel the need to buy expensive clothes or follow the latest fashion trends. Instead, he finds contentment in the simplicity of receiving items as gifts, even when he can afford to splurge.
“Everything I’m wearing right now was given to me,” he explained. “I don’t buy anything, even though I have the money to buy whatever I want. I don’t think about entering the car to go to the store. It doesn’t even cross my mind to buy the latest drip. It’s weird, but that’s my reality, and I can’t be lying.”
Staying Grounded
Odumodublvck’s candid approach to life highlights his desire to remain true to himself, despite the pressures of celebrity culture. While many artists prioritize fame and wealth, his focus on authenticity and simplicity sets him apart in the entertainment industry.
This refreshing outlook not only resonates with his fans but also serves as a reminder that success means different things to different people. For Odumodublvck, it’s about staying grounded, connecting with his audience, and living a life that reflects his values.
