Nigerian Influencer Peller Reveals TikTok Earnings Strategy

Nigerian social media sensation, Peller, has shed light on his earnings as a content creator on TikTok. During a recent interview on Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Peller revealed he earns an average of ₦20 million weekly from his TikTok activities, primarily through live sessions.

Addressing speculations about his income, Peller dismissed rumors suggesting he earns as much as ₦200 million. “Some people say it’s ₦200 million, but let me not lie, it’s not,” he clarified. Instead, he explained how a shift in strategy significantly boosted his earnings.

The Power of Live Sessions

Peller shared that live sessions are his major source of income on TikTok. He revealed that he initially approached the platform with a money-focused mindset but realized a more authentic and engaging approach was far more lucrative. “I don’t go on TikTok to make money. I used to be money-focused before, but I started to use a different strategy with how I talk. I started to make more money while talking like this than I used to when I talked normally,” he explained.

He recalled a particularly surprising moment when he earned $10,000 (approximately ₦7.5 million) from a single live session after seeing lower figures in the past. “I could have a live session and talk for a while, and at the end of it, I could have $3000 for 30 minutes,” Peller shared.

The influencer emphasized that consistency and moderation are key to his success. “I don’t do live sessions every day because you don’t want people to see your face too much. I only go live three times a week,” he revealed.

TikTok Revenue Breakdown

While TikTok takes a percentage of the earnings, Peller’s weekly revenue averages ₦20 million. “I once made $10,000 from one live session because I did big numbers, and I was very surprised. I used to see $7000, $8000, so when I saw $10,000, I was surprised,” he noted.

Peller’s story highlights the growing opportunities for influencers on social media platforms and the importance of adapting strategies to maximize profitability. His journey serves as an inspiration to content creators striving to turn their passion into a sustainable income.

With TikTok’s growing influence in Nigeria and beyond, Peller’s success is a testament to the platform’s potential for creators who know how to engage their audience effectively.
