10 Things You Didn’t Know About MoeLogo

The Nigerian vocalist and artist, MoeLogo was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He gained notoriety during a performance in Gambia with Jamaican artist, Busy Signal in December 2010. In 2011, he released his first Afrobeat single title “She’s my Indomie”, which received great reviews. He was invited to perform in Wembley at the Africa Unplugged Festival featuring artists from all over Africa and he was also chosen by DJ Edu to participate in the BBC Introducing sessions held in Maida Vale studios. The versatile vocalist and artist is definitely an act to look out for in the entertainment industry.

1. Moelogo was born in Lagos, Nigeria.

2. He relocated to London with his mother and siblings and it was there that he feel in love with music.

3. He mentioned in an interview that he like to imitate the techniques of the American artist R. Kelly and Usher as a method to develop his own vocal range.

4. At the age of 14, he became a member of his school choir, using it as an opportunity to explore and train his voice.

5. In December 2010, he gained notoriety during a performance in Gambia with Jamaican artist, Busy Signal.

6. He has collaborated with prominent entertainment stars like Gunna Dee, Joe grind, Jesse Jagz, Marvel Boys, Ice Prince and Kano to mention a few.

7. In 2011, he released his first Afrobeat single title “She’s my Indomie”, which received great reviews.
