Davido Confirms Joint Tour and Upcoming EP with Chris Brown in 2026

Afrobeats superstar Davido has officially confirmed that he will be embarking on a joint tour with American R&B sensation Chris Brown. In a recent interview on The Ebro Show, the Nigerian hitmaker also revealed that the duo plans to release a collaborative EP in 2026, marking a new milestone in their long-running musical partnership.
“We can put out two albums right now,” Davido stated during the interview, highlighting that he and Chris Brown have recorded over 20 songs together. Despite the wealth of unreleased material, the pair decided to hold off on releasing their collaborative project this year to allow Chris Brown to fully enjoy the massive success of his 2025 achievements, including the high-profile Breezy Bowl tour, which Davido confirmed he will also be performing on.
“The plan is to do a double continent tour. A tour of Africa and Europe with the joint album,” Davido shared, exciting fans across both continents with the promise of high-energy performances and a fusion of Afrobeats and R&B on stage.
This revelation solidifies earlier hints Davido dropped during a live Twitch session with fellow Nigerian artist Cruel Santino. In that appearance, he confirmed Chris Brown’s involvement on his recently released fifth studio album 5ive, adding to a string of collaborations that have built a strong musical chemistry between the two stars.
Davido and Chris Brown’s musical relationship began in 2019 with the global hit Blow My Mind, a standout track from Davido’s sophomore album A Good Time. Since then, they’ve continued to deliver hits, including Lower Body from Brown’s Indigo album, and Shopping Spree featuring Young Thug from Davido’s A Better Time.
In 2022, Davido also featured on Chris Brown’s Nobody Has To Know, and together with producer KDDO, contributed to the writing of Under The Influence, one of Chris Brown’s biggest viral hits. Their collaboration on the 2023 track Sensational, alongside Lojay, not only earned them critical acclaim but also secured them their first Billboard Hot 100 entry and a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance at the 67th Grammy Awards.
With the announcement of a joint tour and an EP set for 2026, fans can expect a fresh wave of genre-blending music and iconic stage moments from two of the biggest names in global pop and urban music. The partnership between Davido and Chris Brown continues to be a cultural bridge between Afrobeats and American R&B — and the best is clearly yet to come.
