LOL! See Oreka Godis Struggling to Catch Bouquet at Toolz Wedding
It appears many women nowadays still believe in the unknown magic that lies behind catching the bouquet. It is a worldwide belief that when a single lady catches the bouquet of a new bride, she walks down the aisle also in no time, to get married. Oreka Godis is, apparently one of these women who does not joke with such a belief.
Banky W shared a hilarious video on Instagram showing the pretty media personality trying to catch the bouquet at Tolu Oniru-Demuren’s wedding at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai.
Tolu Oniru, popularly known as Toolz is a radio personality, talk show and host presenter. She is best known for hosting the Midday Show on The Beat 99.9 Fm.
Toolz got married to the man of her dreams on 28 May 2016.
Oreka Godis is a descendant of the Otaro and Ekarabome Royal Dynasty of Ogori, Kogi State, Nigeria. Born to a father who served in the Nigerian military and a mother who worked as a nurse in England and the United States of America, Oreka grew up as a bit of a nomad, living in various parts of Nigeria and England.
From her early days, Oreka stood out as a talented child. At school, she was class captain, social prefect, an active member of her schools’ track-and-field team, represented (and won) with her school’s debate team, sat on the Student Union Council Boards during her A’Levels and was elected Afro-Caribbean President at Kings College London -where she graduated with a Clinical Sciences BSc (Hons) degree.
Oreka relocated to Nigeria in 2009 to work for The Beat 99.9FM where she co-anchored the biggest breakfast show in Lagos, Nigeria. During her breakfast show, Oreka successfully executed entertaining and informative live radio shows covering politics, entertainment, sports and world news. She hosted ‘Rookies and Dons’ – a weekly British Council program on UK education and lifestyle. Notable guests on the breakfast show included a host of Nigerian artistes, corporate bodies, and international acts such as Hakeem Kae Kazim, Isha Sesay, R.Kelly, Sean Paul, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Shondrella Avery.
She is a confident speaker and lover of arts and culture who has performed Master of Ceremony duties for many private and public events.
