Nedu Wazobia Denies Being Fired from ‘The Honest Bunch’ Amid Rising Controversy

Nigerian media personality, Nedu Wazobia, has dismissed reports claiming he was fired as the host of the popular podcast, The Honest Bunch. Speaking during a recent press conference, Nedu clarified that his departure from the show was a personal decision and not a forced removal.
“Every opinion shared on this platform is the opinion of the guest, not of the show itself, so everyone has the right to an opinion and the right of reporting,” he stated.
Addressing the swirling rumors, he firmly denied being dismissed from The Honest Bunch and explained that he chose to step away due to personal attacks directed at him.
“Let me straighten something out—I was not fired from The Honest Bunch, I was never fired. I decided to step away when the attacks became very personal so that the show can go on. I was not fired,” he reiterated.
His statement comes amid allegations from social media critic VeryDarkMan, who accused Nedu of demanding sexual favors from women in exchange for movie roles. VeryDarkMan also threatened to release a list of celebrities Nedu had allegedly been involved with. These claims fueled further accusations and online speculation, though Nedu had initially remained silent on the matter.
Addressing the controversy, Nedu maintained his stance against engaging in social media feuds.
“A lot of things have been going on left, right, and center, but I am going to say this: I am not one to indulge in petty exchanges of words, that’s not who I am. It has never been my style, and it would never be my style to jab words with people on social media,” he stated.
Despite the controversy surrounding his name, Nedu appears to be focused on moving forward. While The Honest Bunch continues without him, his next steps in the media space remain highly anticipated.
