Nigerian music continues to command a massive global audience, and the latest data from The Debut Hub highlights the country’s top-performing artists on YouTube Music in the first quarter of 2025. Leading the list is Afrobeats sensation Rema, who amassed an impressive 223 million streams. His record-breaking hit ‘Calm Down’ played a significant role in this achievement, surpassing 1 billion streams and solidifying his global appeal. His latest single, ‘Baby (Is It A Crime)’, also stands out as the second most-streamed song by a Nigerian artist on YouTube in 2025, garnering 14 million views.

Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning star, follows in second place with 171 million streams. As he prepares for the release of his highly anticipated eighth studio album, No Sign of Weakness, his music continues to enjoy massive reception worldwide.

Mavin Records’ songstress Ayra Starr secures the third position with 169 million streams. Her success is fueled by a streak of hit releases, including her 2025 single All The Love, which has resonated with fans globally.

Superstar Davido ranks fourth with 113 million streams, a number set to rise as he prepares to drop his upcoming fifth studio album, 5ive. Meanwhile, Wizkid rounds out the top five with 102 million streams, bolstered by the release of the music video for Kese (Dance) from his sixth album, Morayo.
