Seyi Vibez Drops Surprise EP ‘Children of Africa’ Featuring NLE Choppa

Nigerian street-hop sensation Seyi Vibez has kicked off 2025 with a surprise four-track EP titled Children of Africa, marking his first release of the year. The project, which dropped on February 21, follows an impressive 2024, during which he closed out the year with the biggest song on Apple Music Nigeria.

A New Chapter for Seyi Vibez

Announcing the project on his Instagram story, Seyi Vibez hinted at bigger things to come, stating that “big things start small” while urging fans to stream the EP. The release features a collaboration with American trap artist NLE Choppa on the track ‘MACHO’, adding an international touch to his signature sound.

Seyi Vibez, known for his vibrant blend of Apala, Afrobeats, and Hip-Hop, has been on a relentless run since breaking into the mainstream in 2023. Children of Africa marks his sixth solo project in three years, reinforcing his reputation as one of Nigeria’s most consistent hitmakers.

His First Independent Release Since Leaving Dapper Music

This EP is also significant as it’s Seyi Vibez’s first release since parting ways with Dapper Music in 2024, the label under which he rose to prominence. Now operating under his own No Seyi No Vibez INC in collaboration with EMPIRE, the project signifies his new era of independence.
