Wizkid Announces North American Dates for Highly Anticipated ‘Morayo’ Tour

Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Wizkid has officially announced the North American leg of his ‘Morayo’ tour. The Afrobeats icon shared the exciting news on his Instagram, revealing six stops across the United States and Canada.

As part of the tour, Wizkid will perform at some of North America’s most prestigious venues, including Madison Square Garden in New York, State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and Scotiabank Arena in Canada. Fans in these cities will have the opportunity to experience his electrifying performances and chart-topping hits.

A Busy 2025 for Wizkid

The ‘Essence’ crooner is gearing up for a packed year, following his recent directorial debut in the music video for his single ‘Kese (Dance).’ This marks a new creative milestone for Wizkid, who continues to push artistic boundaries.

The video is the second from his latest album, following ‘Piece of My Heart’ featuring Brent Faiyaz, which recently won Best Contemporary Duo or Group at the 2025 NAACP Awards. With critical acclaim and industry recognition, ‘Morayo’ is shaping up to be one of Wizkid’s most impactful projects yet.

Expanding His Global Reach

Beyond North America, Wizkid has already announced European dates for the ‘Morayo’ tour. In May, he will take the stage at some of Europe’s biggest venues, including the 12,000-capacity Velodrome Arena in Berlin, Germany (May 21), the Ahoy RTM Stage in Rotterdam, Netherlands (May 23), and the legendary 20,000-capacity Accor Arena in Paris, France (May 25).

The tour follows the release of Wizkid’s sixth studio album, Morayo, which dropped in November 2024. The project features an impressive lineup of guest appearances, including Nigerian hitmaker Asake, French star Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anais Cardot, and American R&B sensations Jazmine Sullivan and Brent Faiyaz.

Fans worldwide are eager to see Wizkid back on tour, as he has a track record of delivering unforgettable live performances. He previously made history by selling out London’s O2 Arena for three consecutive nights and becoming the first African artist to headline Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
