Charles Enebeli (born 23 October 1989) better known by his stage name D’Prince, is a Nigerian Afro pop singer-songwriter. The Child of a King, as called by many, hails from Abia State. With hits like “Take Banana” and “Goody Bag” and being the younger brother to the music mogul Don Jazzy, D’Prince is definitely been making waves in the music industry. As the son of a musical producer and an international business tycoon, there is no doubt that the 26-years-old musician has brought a change in the Nigerian music industry.

1. D’Prince was born on 23 October 1989 in Lagos, Nigeria. He attended the King’s College in Lagos.
2. His father is Collins Enebeli, a musical production manger and the founder of Sagitarious Productions. His mother is Patience Enebeli, an international business tycoon.
3. In 2009, He shot into the limelight with the hit track “Omoba”.
4. He is the younger brother to CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy. In 2005, he was signed to Mo’Hits Records.
5. He is also known as “Omoba” which means a Child of a King. After the dissolution of Mo’Hits Records, D’Prince moved to Mavin Records.
6. His mentors are Kuti Fela and Bob Marley.
7. In 2010, he was nominated for the Most Promising Act at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards. His Solar Plexus album included hit singles like “Take Banana” and “Amarachi” topped many music charts in Nigeria.
