Daddy Freeze was born with the name Ifedayo Olarinde, is an indigence of Osun State but he is not full blooded Nigerian. He hails from Transylvania, Romania. He is currently the host of the road show Cool FM’s evening “Drive Show” which airs between 4pm and 9pm. He has over 15-years of experience in the broadcasting business. There is no doubt that the Transylvania Nigerian based radio personality is a man of controversial taste but still a fan favourite.

1. Daddy Freeze was born with the name Ifedayo Olarinde, is an indigence of Osun State but he is not full blooded Nigerian. He hails from Transylvania, Romania.
2. He attended the University of Ibadan where he graduated after obtaining a degree in Sociology.
3. He is currently married to a lovely woman who he met in his university days and they are blessed with 2 beautiful children.
4. He has been in the broadcasting business for over 15 years. His first radio job was in 1996 in Romania as a three month stint with Radio Galaxia.
5. His inspiration to be a radio presenter developed when he accompanied his cousin to a radio station where she hosted a kids’ programme and from there he got the strength to give it a try.
6. He returned to Nigeria and auditioned for a job at BCOS in Ibadan and went on to work there for 5-years. He later commenced working at Cool FM as a broadcaster and production officer in 2001.
7. He has interviewed top celebrities like Akon, Boyz 2 Men, Sean Paul, Brain McKnight, SWV and Wycleff Jean to mention a few.
8. In 2011, he was a judge alongside KCee and Paul Play Dairo on Star Quest, a highly participated talent show.
9. He mentioned in an interview that he has a collection of watches worth 32 million naira.
10. He has been nominated for numerous awards including the Favourite Nigerian On-Air Personality award at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in 2014 held in Los Angeles which he won.
