The Nigerian-British actor, Hakeem Kae-Kazim was born on 1st October 1962 in Lagos, Nigeria. He broke into the Nigerian entertainment scene when he starred in movies like Last Flight To Abuja and Half Of A Yellow Sun. His role as Georges Rutaganda in the acclaimed and Oscar nominated film, Hotel Rwanda, made him to be known both locally and internationally. 1. Hakeem Kae-Kazim was born on 1st October 1962 in Lagos, Nigeria.
2. He discovered his love for acting at a tender age when he participated in school plays and the National Youth Theatre.
3. He was offered admission to The Royal Shakespeare Company, where he continued his classical training. He later graduated in 1987 from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
