29 richest people in Africa

Forbes has recently released the 2015 list of the richest people in the world. There are 29 Africans on the list. This list includes those who earn above 1 billion dollars.  The South African mining magnet Desmond Sacco and the Moroccan business man Anas Sefrioui have not made the cut, but this year saw the inclusion of new people.

This includes the Tanzanian Mohamed Dewji (39 years) who is involved in textile and the Nigerian Femi Otedola (50 years) who runs the company Fort oil.

The list includes two women Folorunsho Alakija (Nigeria) and Isabel dos Santos (Angola)

The list has 7 south Africans, 5 Nigerians, 8 Egyptians, 3 Moroccans. The list is dominated by english speaking people.
