Partners don’t have to reveal HIV status
Partners don’t have to reveal HIV status
Kenya- A court has ruled as unconstitutional a requirement that one reveal his or her status to a partner.
The judge said this violated the principle of privacy which is enshrined in the constitution of the country.
Will it become difficult for Kenyan men to satisfy their desire?
Only time will tell, because this could affect the trust that one has towards their partners. It begs the question how could a court come to that conclusion as the life of the other partner depends on the knowledge of the status.
Does the right to privacy outweigh the right to life?
Because HIV can become a life sentence
Can I conclude that this is only possible in Africa, more specifically Kenya?
Here is a few rules that all Kenyan man will need to apply in their daily activities
- Abstain
- Be faithful
- Condomise (use a condom)
Is that really that hard (no pun intended)?
So keep in mind that life is precious, it needs to be protected, we also need our privacy, it needs to be respected. Sexual urges are powerful it needs to be acted upon.
Dilemma….
